Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a significant health problem affecting over 27 million people in North America and Europe. People with peripheral arterial disease are at heightened risk of serious cardiovascular problems, such as stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular mortality. Treatment of the disease is difficult and complex. Today's treatments do not always improve patient outcomes.

Minnow Medical has developed an innovative endovascular Guided Reshaping Technology™ (GRT™) that will allow physicians to overcome problems experienced with current technologies by effectively treating atherosclerosis peripherally in the Superficial Femoral (SFA) and Popliteal Arteries. GRT is a unique catheter and energy-based treatment that helps to overcome the limitations of current endovascular technologies in the treatment of PAD, specifically in the SFA and Popliteal Arteries.

Minnow Medical's Peripheral Vascular System™ is not for sale at this time. The claims for this device made on this website describe the expected clinical performance of the device and have not yet been confirmed through clinical trials.
